Kikirapu! The giant maggot looking creature sat in Caleb’s hand only inches from my face. It is also known as a sago grub. Kikirapu makes its home in the sago trees which are a main part of the coastal Papua New Guinean diet, so naturally it, too, is a component of PNG nourishment.
